The shift change feature allows incoming and outgoing nurses to align on the state of the count in the room.
Shift change is intended to assist with incoming and outgoing nurses aligning on the status of the count. To engage shift change, we simply click this shift change button in the middle.
We now have prompts on the right hand side of the board guiding us through the process. We must first put in the name of the new circulating nurse and we can then put in the name for a new scrub.
Once those names are in, we will go through each and every one of the counts and confirm what is visible and not visible.
